Our Place Youth Club runs weekly during term time at the Parish Centre in Ambleside. It offers a safe and positive environment for young people to meet with friends, try new things and develop interests and hobbies. There is a separate youth club for juniors and seniors.
On offer at each session will be a variety of cooking and craft. We also run weekly sports sessions delivered by a professional coach.
In addition the youth club has pool tables, games consoles, table tennis and air hockey. There is also a tuck shop.
The recent range of activities at the club have included; dodgeball, baking Gingerbread men and decorating bird boxes . During school holidays we go on trips away from Ambleside.
The senior youth club also has activities on offer but many just enjoy the space to socialise with friends outside of the home. Youth workers are there to offer support and guidance.
Members of the clubs also attended trips to Zero Gravity Trampoline park, Rampcity, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Ice Rink.
