Welcoming friends old and new to a safe friendly place for adults with additional needs to socialise and have fun.

The Friend’s Club was developed as it was identified there was a lack in provision in Kendal for adults with additional needs to come together and socialise. Each week there will be a variety of diverse activities and food.

Past activities have included Zumba, quizzes, pub visit, drama, keep fit, disco, kareoke, board games, crafts and Makaton.

Kendal Lads and Girls club has full wheelchair access.

The Friend’s Club runs on Wednesday, 3.30pm – 6.30pm @Kendal Lads and Girls Club
Cost – £10
Only 40 people will be able to attend so it is best to book.

The Friends Club will be delivered by Youth Engagement Service (YES). YES has delivered the ‘Lifesteps Group’ for young adults with additional needs since 2017.
All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and Safeguarding Trained. There is always a nominated First Aider at sessions.
