Windermere Youth Club runs weekly during term time at the Phoenix Centre, Windermere. It offers a safe and positive environment for local young people to meet with friends, try new things and develop interests and hobbies. There is a separate youth club for juniors and seniors.
A range of sports, crafts and cooking are on offer at every session. There are also pool tables, an xbox one and table tennis.
The junior club follows a more structured plan with young people taking part in the activities they choose.
The senior youth club also has the activities on offer. However, a lot of our members just like the youth club as a place to socialise and listen to their music.
Trained youth workers are available at every session to offer, guidance, advice and support with a wide range of problems and difficulties that young people may be facing.
New Members – Any young person from the local area, who is old enough to attend a session, is welcome to just turn up. Young People must provide telephone details for a Parent / Guardian on arrival to the first session. A health and consent form will need to be returned at their next session.
