Our idea – Create a network of qualified youth workers including a fundraising expert and support local communities to continue running their youth projects.  We offer guidance if needed, fundraising support and youth workers to run youth clubs with the support of the community.

As a further need was identified, in relation to young adults with learning difficulties, projects were launched in Kendal in 2017.

A not for profit organisation created in recognition that young people deserve activities which are engaging and accessible.  We aim to support local groups to enable this to happen.

Youth Engagement Service was founded in 2015

Directors –  Ian Parr, Sarah Cutts, Marilyn Irons, Liz Cornford

Fundraising Expert – Liz Cornford (MBE)

Collectively we have over 60 years of experience with working with young people and also adults with additional needs.

Youth Engagement Service can provide professional workers to run your projects. We have a network of experienced freelance youth workers,  whom are all DBS checked and hold First Aid, Safeguard training and Food Hygiene Certificates.
